Madelyn turned 1!

 We can't believe how fast the year flew by for Madelyn to already be one years old!!  Mallory and McKenna had planned for a couple weeks for the big birthday bash.  We decided to do a cupcake/pink theme.  We found her a dress that was pink and with a big cupcake on it.  The kids couldn't wait for her to dig into her cake.  She wasn' sure at first what to do when we sat it in front of her, but she soon figured it out!  She dug into the cake!  She even put her whole face into the cake. The kids thought it was hilarious!  She wasn't into opening presents to much, so McKenna gladly opened them for her. 

She loved wearing the pink crown that said "Birthday Girl."  I was surprised she left it on her head the whole party.

She loved the cake.  She kept saying yum after each bite!

Mallory is Madelyn 2nd mother.  She takes such good care of her.

Madelyn loves for people to laugh at her.  She has figured out how to do things so we will laugh at her.  She has a card in her mouth in this picture.

She has already started climbing on everything.  She loves climbing up to the piano and playing the keys. 

When I think about the 1st year of Madelyn's life I can't help but feel totally blessed.  She has brought so much joy into our family.  She has such a spirit of peace and calmness about her.  Her brother and sisters lover her so much.  They don't like to see her sad and are always worried about her.  We love you Madelyn!
