Jace turns 10!!

I can't believe my baby boy is 10!!  These 10 years have gone so fast!  He is starting to be his own person.  He is not a little kid anymore, but yet he is not a teenager yet(thank goodness) He has a funny sense of humor and he loves to get people to laugh.  He surprises me with his desire to do what is right.  He reminds our family to read scriputures and say family prayers.  Madelyn absolutely adores him. He takes great care of her and is a fun big brother.  He wishes he had a brother, but his cousins will have to do. 

Jace wanted to go to lunch at Rupe's with his cousins.

Jace's birthday fell on our ward summer party this year.  Elders Quorom(their wifes) was in charge of this party.  We had to be there to set up and clean up.  So we decided we would have the whole ward celebrate Jace's birthday!  After we had all cleaned up, we played a fun game of football with all of Jace's friends from our ward.  We had birthday cake and ice cream too.  We have such a great ward with so many friends and what a blessing they are to our family.

Jace is a great oldest child.  He continues to show his maturity and taking that role on for his sisters.  He is a great babysitter, dinner helper, garbage taker outer, dog feeder, horse rider, sports playing  son!  We love you Jace!
