April 2014

The month of April slowed down for activities with the kids.  Jace finally finished basketball after playing over 60 games with his Hoops Team.  Mallory finished volleyball. We spent many days outside playing/working when it was warm enough.  We had a big "to do" list outside.  We love having 5 acres, but it is so much work.  It is good for our kids to have chores, but it is a constant battle to keep up with making sure they complete all their work.  Some of our highlights:

*We got 6 chickens that lay eggs.  My kids love it!  I love having fresh eggs!
*Madelyn went on a field trip to the Library and Firehouse.
*Jace went to his 1st team roping.  He got his first time with his Grandpa Erickson.
*Madelyn and Mom had to get procedures done at the hospital.
*McKenna and Madelyn did Little Jr. Miss.

Madelyn at her field trip a the fire station.

She got to try on the firefighters helmet.
Jace is quite the runner.
He was one of the 1st done in the 5K.
Wapello Elementary had a 5K color run. It was for the whole family.  We all ran it.  I pushed Madelyn and Jagger in the stroller.  It was really fun!
Madelyn had to have a procedure done to see why she was having UTI's and wetting her pants.  She was super brave and did so great!
She was scared, but it helped having her Daddy there with her.

We spent many hours and the Doctor between Madelyn and Me.  Jagger made friends with the receptionist.

We got to go to lunch with Grandma.  Madelyn thought this cookie was awesome.  She didn't want to eat it because it was too cute!

We had many windy days in April. It was a great for kite flying.

Beautiful sunsets we have in Idaho.

This kid loves horses.  He cries when he can't get on the horse and cries when he has to get off.

Madelyn liked Barbie until she got ran away with her.  She got dumped on her head.  It was scary for her and Mom.

Mallory was an awesome volleyball player.

These girls are quite the divas! They are wearing their new Easter dresses.

Mallory is growing up way too fast.  She is into fashion.  She is beautiful inside and out.

McKenna is such a good girl.  She is funny and makes me smile each day.  She easy to get along with and helps me with Jagger.

Mary Ellsworth is a child-hood friend that I haven't seen for years.  I saw her the night at jr. miss.  She remembered me and gave me a big hug.

We went to Rupes after Jr. Miss.  The girls were exhausted

I had to go get some polyps taken out of my Uterus. It wasn't too bad of a procedure.  It took me a few days to get back to normal.

This kid is funny.  No clothes and riding his horse.
