Madelyn is 5!

Madelyn is such a joy! She has so much excitement for life!  She lights up a room with her smile and spunk for life! She has so much determination with different tasks! When she wants to do something she will do it! (Which can be good and bad at the same time) Madelyn's birthday is so close to Christmas that it seems like December goes so much faster than it used to. 

Fun Facts of Madelyn Erickson at five years old

• She loves babies and stuffed animals. She makes beds for her babies and animals all over the house.  She gets them dressed each day.  She has so many, but can always notice when there's one missing.
• She has cut her hair 3 different times this year.  Thanks to Aunt Meggan for always fixing her hair after she butchers her own hair.
• She is really tall for her age.  She has huge feet.  She wears a size 12.
• She loves watching T.V.  We have to limit her time she watches it.  She could watch it hours on end.
• She is a momma to Jagger.  She loves playing with her siblings
• She doesn't like to get going in the mornings.  She likes to take it slow most of the morning.  She seems to always get her second wind at about 9 p.m., right when it is bed time.
• She likes fashion.  She puts her own outfits together, that actually look great. (She must get it from Mallory)
• She sings many funny songs, some she makes up and some songs she knows.  She can be heard singing at the top of her longs around bed time, when everyone is supposed to be asleep. 
• She is very tender hearted.  She is very protective of animals and babies.  She got a baby kitten this year named Midnight.  She takes such good care of him.  Midnight loves Madelyn.

We had Spaghetti dinner, French bread, steamed vegetables, mixed fruit. 

She got Elsa and Anna dolls, Frozen shoes, and a Frozen cape.

We had so many people over for her birthday party.  Her favorite babysitter, Maren came.  Maren is one of Madelyn' best friends.

We went to McDonalds and played on the playground.  She always wants to go so it was a big treat for her!

Mallory made her cake for her.  She actually made 5 different cakes because the other 4 kept sticking to the pan, because she forgot to spray them. 

Mallory and McKenna decorated Madelyn's room for her birthday.  They cut out paper hears and wrote on them why they love Madelyn. 

She had worn herself right out!  I love watching my kids sleep.  She is just so pretty.

For her Birthday we took the kids to see the Belnap's light show in IF.  The night we went, they had a Frozen theme and Elsa was there.  The girls were able to get their picture taken with her and they absolutely loved it!
