McKenna was so excited for her birthday and baptism. I can't believe how fast she turned eight. She is so kind, humble, thoughtful, desires to please, forgiving, and loving.
What I love about McKenna
McKenna is funny because she doesn't want to get older. She has weekly melt downs where she gets sad because she wants to stay little forever.
She is very cuddly and loves giving hugs daily. She is always expressing to me about how much she loves her family.
She has a smile on her face most days.
She can be my best worker, if she wants to work. She can clean really good. She loves organizing.
She is very tender hearted. She cries easily over anything sad.
She is athletic. She is so good at her back hand springs and flips.
Every month McKenna bears her testimony. She looks forward to it each month. What a sweet and pure testimony she has to share.

| McKenna wanted to go ice skating for birthday so we went to tauphus park and tried it out. We didn't realize how cold it was going to be inside the skating rink. Ice skating is more difficult than it looks. Jake had an awful fall while holding both girls hands. He fell so hard and hit his head on the ice. It looked super painful. |
 |
| She had been waiting so long to go ice skating. She was so excited! |

| The best part of McKenna's birthday was this homemade piñata, courtesy of Mallory. We are pretty red neck around here. Each kid got to take a "whack" at it. Mallory had put all her old Halloween candy in the piñata. She had taped the heck out of it, so it was nearly impossible to break. We used a broom to hit it, but it was longer than the space we had so Jake's knee got the brunt of some of the hits at the piñata. We laughed and laughed so hard. It was a great party. |
