Jace 14th birthday!

Jace turned 14!  I can't believe it!  It seems like just a couple years ago he was getting baptized and now he is turning 14!  He went to EFY in Provo the week before his birthday, so that was pretty much his birthday present.  He had an incredible experience at EFY.  He would text me short messages about how he felt the spirit so strong.  When he was gone to EFY, I decided to do a surprise party for him, when he got home.

Jace and Eden have birthdays 2 days apart.  We had a combined birthday for them.  Eden turned 6.  Jace 14.

After we had the party...  the Smith's took us to pick Huckleberries.  It got dark on us before we could pick very many.  We got enough for a delcious huckleberry milkshake.

Jace and Jagger at Rupes.  Jake took him there so we could have everyone come for his surprise party.  When he came home with Jake all the kids were on the patio.  I asked him to grab something from the patio, he opened the door and everyone yelled surprise.  He just sat there showing no emotion....typical Jace.

Jace has great friends at Firth.  We had 17 kids.  We played games and ate too much junk food.

His friend Jordyn Adams gave him this poster for his birthday!

Everyone that came to the surprise party.

Jace was ordained a teacher.  He takes his priesthood serious.  He makes us proud the way he is living the gospel.  He reads his scriptures and is very spiritual.

Trey was able to come for his ordination.  Jace and Trey are good buddies.  They like hanging out.  Jace has been blessed with so many boy cousins that are his best friends.

Jace and his Grandpas.  They both rope.

Jace and his grandparents.

Jace was going to go to Scout camp and would be gone so we celebrated early with his surprise party.  However Jace ended up not going because he had to work.  He had already missed a whole week because of EFY.  I am big about doing something fun for birthdays.  He worked most of the day.  When he got off work he decided he wanted to go to Firth Cafe and Bowling.  Jake had Board Meetings that night so both grandparents came and just our family.
Breakfast in Bed!

Jake likes bowling.  He is a pretty good.  I also had me a good game.  I got 3 strikes in a row and beat everyone:)
