Girls Weekend=Jake & the kids!

We had our annual girls weekend in October. We were all so excited to be able to go and had been plannning it for a long time. We were especially excited because my sister-in-law, Ashley was flying in from Washington. We left Thursday night and stayed until Saturday night. We stayed at Nikki"s house in Heber City. We had so much fun. We did lots of shopping, eating and talking! Some of us younger girls stayed up until 3 am talking!(Nikki & Jill just couldn't stay up that late!)

Jake had been planning on taking off work on Friday to be with the kids all weekend. He had some unexpected things at work come up so he had to go to SLC Friday morning to meet with a Doctor. He packed up the kids & they went with him to SLC. They got to stay at Little America and they had so much fun! They swam in the pool for most of the day. On Friday night he had to meet with the Doctor & his wife. My brother Hugh took the kids to Ogden with him.(thanks Hughie you saved us!) The kids had lots of fun with Uncle Hugh, they still talk about it now! I was also excited because I got to sneak away from girls weekend to be with Jake at the dinner. It was at "The Roof" restaurant inside the Joesph Smith building & it was amazing! I hated leaving my kids & Jake that night but we only have one weekend for girls weekend!~

Jake did so much with the kids on Saturday. He took the kids swimming again.(McKenna not the easiest to take swimming), went to breakfast, visited temple square, took them to lunch, and also went miniature golfing! Jake managed to take lots of pictures also!(isn't he a good dad!) The kids had such a great time with Jake and they didn't miss me one bit! McKenna still asks Jake, when can me, you, Jace and Mallory go to the hotel without Mommy! Thanks Jake for being so great!
