Our girls are into helping us cook. They are helping Jake makeh his Yummy Sunday Crepes, which our kids love so much! Mallory and McKenna are always so willing to help with anything!
This pictures were actually suppose to go in Feb, but better late then ever! These sweater were given to us our genours Aunt Marie. Our girls love matching and being twins.
On March 5th , we blessed Madelyn in our ward. We were super excited for this day. We had planned on doing it the first of February but due to her RSV, we changed the blessing day to March. We of course, had such a great support from both of our families. We both have big families so whenever we get together, we have many people.(like 75 people. we love it!) Madelyn look so beautiful in her white puffy sleeve dress. I have used the same dress for both Mallory and McKenna. She was a little older then our other girls so the dress fit just right. Jake gave her a beautiful blessing. We are so thankful for this sweet little girl! We had a great dinner after church. We had Turkey & Ham with so many wonderful salads & desserts. We sure missed my Mom & Dad, but know they are doing what they need to do.
We can't ever seem to get the kids all looking at the same time!
We were excited for Spring Break this year. We had never really taken a spring break trip. We went to Midway, Utah and stayed in some condos for 3 nights & four days. We had some good friends of ours come with us. Our kids had so much fun. Although it was supposedly spring, it was really cold & we had lots of snow! We went swimming, shopping, played games, went to the dinosaur museum more swimming, watched movies & had a great time. Sad Story: We went shopping in Park City and we were only going to go to a couple stores, so I stayed in the car with the kids so they could watch a movie and not have to bring them in the store. Jake need to get some clothes for work, so he ran in by himself. He found a great sale and was in the store for over an hour. When he came out, we were still watching the movie. When he went to start the car, it was dead! Luckily our friends, the Wrays were close by and helped us! Before we went to Park City we had told the kids that we would go to a fun swimming pool in Kamas. So after jumping the car, we headed to Kamas. They had swimsuits and floaties the whole time we were in Park City and ever 2 minutes kept asking, "When are go swimming. Is it time yet to go swimming?', so to say the least, they were very excited. By the time, we pulled in to the Kamas swimming pool, they were chanting, swimming, swimmng! When we went to the door is was closed! The power had gone out a half hour earlier and they had to close the swimming pool. Jake and I looked at each other and started laughing. When we told the kids it was closed and we couldn't go swimming, they were devestaed! After dragging them to the car, they didn't say a word for awhile, just sat there in unbelief! Jake and I thought it was pretty ironic and sad. What a crazy day, with a dead car & closed swimming pool!
Kids had a great time at the Dinosaur Museum.
Our Condo was very nice and had 2 bedrooms & studio bed. Girls slept in the twin beds. Jace in the studio bed. Madelyn was such a nice baby & slept in her bouncy seat all three nights. We were glad Kennadee got to come stay with us for a night. We also got to play some funny April fools jokes too. Kennadee was staying the night, so we decided to call her mom and tell her Kennadee was really scared and wanted to go home. Kenadee is such a great actress and really had her mom believing her. Then when I talked to Nikki, I said, April Fools! We thought it was pretty funny! Jace loves to play a joke every April Fools on his Grandpa John. We got him good this year. Jace called Grandpa around 9:30. He told Grandpa in a sad voice, he said "Grandpa, we need help. We are in Utah and my dad is in jail. My Dad got pulled over and got in a fight with the police officer and they put him in jail. Grandpa just sat there and said a few four letter words. He told Jace, "Let me call someone and I will call you back." Then Jace yelled, April Fools! Grandpa John sat there for a few minutes, then started laughing and said, you got me good. Jace thought it was so funny and talked about for days!
