Jace had a back to school party the day before schools started. He invited 11 boys. They played football for over 2 hours. He has such a good group of friends.

School got in the swing of things on August 25th. Jace was excited but mainly to go play football at recess. Jace has Ms. Clark. She is a great teacher. Jace is learning so much. His homework is sometimes so difficult that I can't even do it! Jace leaves at 7:30 and get homes at 3. Mallory was also excited to finally start Kindergarten. She got Mrs. Nillsen, who she really enjoys. Mallory loves riding the bus. She leaves around 7:30 and gets home at 11:30. She has had to change her wardrobe a bit. She has to have clothes to play on the playground, so more jeans & less skirts and dresses!

The girls wanted to do Jake's hair for him & this is how it ended up. It was really hard to get the elastics out and Jake was almost in tears.

We went to Utah on Labor Day weekend. Jake, Jace and Grandpa Nick got BYU football tickets. Jake also had some work to do in Utah. We left on Friday and returned on Monday. We had such a good time. We stayed in a nice hotel with a swimming pool, so the kids loved that! We also spent time on Sunday at Trena's house. It was so fun to hang out with Trena & family.(like old times!)On Monday we went to the TreeHouse Museum. The kids had so much fun there. We spent more then 2 hours playing & dressing up. We definitely will go back soon!

We also had the Fair in September. We were sad, because Jake had to be out town for most of the week for work. The kids & I went several times and we had lots of fun. Jace got to barrel race in a competition on Saturday. Mallory entered the costume dress up parade,where she dressed up her horse to match her costume and then walked through the parade. It was a lot of work, but so much fun!
