 Easter this year was nice to have later in April.  We usually have either wind, rain or snow.  This year we only had the wind(surprise-surprise, since the wind always blows in Idaho!) We have early church at 9, so instead of doing the Easter bunny before church, the Easter bunny came while we were at church.  The kids couldn't wait until church was over, so they could see what the Easter bunny brought. We tired focusing this year on how important Easter is because the Savior died for us and tried to keep our focus on the Savior.  We had a special Family Home Evening on Easter and the reason we celebrate Easter. The kids were a constant reminder of the true meaning of Easter. In saying this, by no means were they not excited about their presents!  What kid isn't!  I think Jake and I enjoy it as much as the kids by being able to see their excitement.  I usually try to dress my girls the same, but this year they had gotten new dresses close to Easter so they just wore those. 



Madelyn hates pictures.  I hardly have any good pictures of her.



McKenna was so excited for Easter.  She got Barbies, scooter, play dough and candy.

Mallory got her ladybug pillow pet(she wanted for so long), pogo stick, volleyball and candy.



Madelyn got a car that made way too much noise!






Jace got a flag football set, new church clothes, candy, batting gloves, and a wii game.







Mallory and McKenna got really sick in April.  McKenna was so sick that the Doctor wanted to put her in the hospital because she was so dehydrated and lethargic.  We didn't want to have to do that to her, so Jake took several hours of making her drink some Gatorade.  She perked up and we didn't have to send her to the hospital.
