Salt Lake & Halloween October 2011

We were able to go to Salt Lake in October.  We were still remodeling our house so we needed to get away for the weekend.  We stayed at the Little America.  My kids love that hotel and the swimming pool.  We went to PF Changs to eat.  My kids thought it was a cool place.  They did so good at dinner and they thought it was cool that I could use chopsticks. It was so fun to get away and feel blessed we get to spend time together.

We had never had an Iceburg milkshake.  We had heard about them, so we wanted to find an Iceburg.  We googled it on our phone, but the address was wrong.  We drove for over an hour to find  one, and we almost gave up but then Jake finally found it.  They were so yummy and are huge milkshakes.  I don't even think we ate half of what we got!

We met Kennadee and Nikki at the planetarium.  It is a cool place and the kids loved it.

Mckenna and Madelyn thought this dog was so cool that is in the Lobby of the hotel.  Madelyn kept trying to ride it.  Mckenna didn't want to leave it and was sad she had to say goodbye.

Halloween 2011

Halloween this year was so cold!(of course, we live in Idaho!)  We had a fun church/neighborhood party. The kids dressed warm and the cold didn't stop them from getting too much candy.  Madelyn couldn't quite believe you could walk up to someone's house and they would give you candy.  Jace was a chick magnet, Mallory a witch, McKenna a witch and Madelyn a pink dragon.
