Erickson Family: September 2014

September started out with the State Fair! Our love for the Fair has grown since we moved to Blackfoot. We like going and seeing all the fun things they have and of course, the food. We spent many fun filled days at the fair. We buy a pass that gives a parking pass so it makes it simple to just go for a few hours at a time.

Madelyn and Jagger ran the stick horse race. Madelyn was excited about her new stick horse.

We got rodeo tickets to go watch Uncle Nathan rope. Madelyn liked her hat the rodeo clown gave her.

McKenna competed in the dummy roping. She has turned into quite a little roper.

Jagger didn't like his stick horse too much.

Our big news for September is that Sally came to live with us. We always joked around that she should move to Idaho and go to Firth. She and her parents decided it would be best if she actually did move to Idaho. We were thrilled. Sally is such a pure girl that wants to do what is right. Her influence on our kids has been so great! We are a better family because of her. She jumped right onto the volleyball team, where they won 2nd in State. She is playing varisety in basketball also. She has made many new friends. She helps out with house work and watching the kids. She is just a great person.

In September we went to Utah to help Hugh and Candace move into Alamo Storage. Amber and Spence bought a house in Far West so now it was Hugh and Candace's turn to do storage units. Jagger has so much fun with his cousins.

Jagger is so funny. When Sally came to live with us, we moved Jagger downstairs. Sally took Jagger's old room. Now all the girls are upstairs and the boys are downstairs. He likes his new room. He slept good until we had to get rid of his crib. He now has a big boy bed, which he doesn't like.

Jagger LOVES horses. If he is riding one he is fine but if he has to get off...he screams and yells.

Sally loves horses and the outdoors. We spent many hours out in the arena riding and roping.

Jace had a good football season. He played quarterback. He has a good arm. He has loved Firth. He has great friends. Cannon is a great friend. We all enjoy him.
