April 2015

April is a tricky month for weather.  You never know if it's going to be warm or cold.  We ended up having quite a nice spring.  We had many volleyball, basketball and track tournaments.  We were getting anxious to get out of school.  The kids were counting down the days until summer break!   Highlights of April:

*Grandpa John's baby colts being born.
* Jace started track.  He liked it.
*Our good friend, Julia Lindsay passed away.  I sang at the the funeral.  It was a sad day.
*Madelyn's first cavity filled.
*Sally and Mallory volleyball tournaments.
*McKenna and Jace piano lessons.
*Madelyn and McKenna took gymnastics.  They both did amazing.
*Easter

Jagger loves tractors.  This is the tractor Johnny restored for John.
Jagger loves the baby colts at Grandpa Johns house.  His pants are a little
 big!
Most nights Jagger comes into our bed.  He pretty much takes over my pillow.  It gets bright in our bedroom, so his big hand blockes out the sun in his eye.

Jagger got really sick. He threw up a couple times, fevered, and just didn't feel good.  He laid down waiting for Jake to change his clothes.  He feel asleep while waiting for Jake.  We knew he was sick if he slows down!

Mallory is super flexible.  Cool picture of her doing her favorite move!

 Cute baby colt!

Easter this year was spent with Ashley and Damien.  We had Dinner, colored eggs, and Easter egg hunt.

 The kids loved coloring eggs.

The Erickson and Smith kids!  Everyone has friends their age.....Carter and Jace, McKoy and Mallory, Mckenna and Addison, Eden and Madelyn, Korver and Jagger.  We love hanging out with them.

Mckenna finding an Easter egg.

 Jagger finding his eggs.

Those pants are still too dang big!

Our Easter, hot tub soak.

Easter bunny gave the girls some baby chicks.

They had to take good care of them.  They watered, fed and made sure the light was on them.

Grandpa John had 6 new baby colts.  2 did die, but the other 4 were very cute.  The kids loved seeing them.

Jagger especially loved seeing the colts.  He would ask everyday to be able to go to see Grandpa John's colts.

Jags got  paw patrol trucks and towel for Easter

Jace got church clothes and candy,

McKenna got a barbie, shoes and shorts.

Mallory got shoes, overalls, shorts and candy.

Mallory was so excited to get her baby chicks.  The chicks names were sunny, cloudy, and rainy.

Jace in his easter pants.  His dad didn't like these pants much!

Jagger was tired from all the Easter Fun.

Candace and Hugh had their twin baby girls.  I was able to go stay for a few days helping take care of the twins and Hinckley.  It was so much fun.  Chloe Susan and Audree Michelle are perfect in every way!

Idaho weather likes to play tricks on us.  This picture of Jags and Mads playing outside was on a Monday.

These are on the Wednesday of the same week.

Jagger and Jace met Grandpa John at the bull sale.  Jagger was so excited.  He lasted a whole 10 minutes.

A super nice day in April!

Madelyn had to get a cavity filled.  She was so nervous, but she did so great!

Mallory had her Idaho History program.  Her class had worked so hard on the songs and their parts. Mallory wore a cute pioneer dress that I wore when I was her age.
