Happy Birthday!!!

Jake turned 31! Our kids are so glad, because now Dad is the same age as Mom. (side note-The kids really get confused because I am older then Jake, by 10 months. In our family I always tease that Jake is #1 boss, Mom is #2 boss, Jace #3 boss, Mallory #4 boss, McKenna #5 boss, so they are confused why Jake is #1 boss if I am older! Jake thinks it is funny because he knows you the real #1 boss is!!)

We love birthdays around our house! We always try to make it a special day. Jake left early for work and came home late from work. He was so busy all day. We didn't get to see him until 7 that night. His idea of great birthday is staying home and relaxing, so that just what we did. We cooked his favorite meal: Chicken Alfredo with broccoli, breads ticks, and cottage cheese salad. This year for his birthday cake he wanted a Lemon Cake (something his mom made when he was younger) and of course rainbow sherbet ice cream. We had Nate, Meggan and Ledger join us for the low-key party! Then we watched the Jazz game and then soaked in the hot tub!

WE LOVE DADDY BECAUSE:

JACE: HE ALWAYS PLAYS FOOTBALL WITH ME. HE IS A GOOD BASKETBALL COACH. HE IS NICE. HE HELPS ME WITH MY HOMEWORK. HE TEACHES ME HOW TO PLAY BETTER BASKETBALL AND BETTER FOOTBALL. HE IS A GOOD EXAMPLE TO ME.

MALLORY:HE HAD A BIRTHDAY. I LOVE WHEN DAD PLAYS DOLLS WITH ME. I LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE GOES TO WORK AND PAYS ME MONEY. HE IS SO SWEET AND HE CARRIES ME TO BED.

MCKENNA:HORSES AND NIGHT-NIGHT(SHE LOVES WHEN JAKE LETS HER RIDE HORSES AND LOVES HIS KISSES)

MEGAN:HE IS A VERY HARD WORKER AND MAKES LIFE EASY FOR ME. HE IS MY VERY BEST FRIEND AND WE ALWAYS HAVE FUN TOGETHER. HE MAKES ME LAUGH EVERYDAY AND IS ALWAYS IN A GOOD MOOD.
