June....Fathers Day

We had a fathers day BBQ at our house this year.  We had Jake's family over.  We had John and Coleen, Johnny and Trena, J.T. and Amanda and Jordan.  We grilled some steaks and had a delicious dinner.
Our kids love their Grandpa John.  They like to give him hard hugs!
Jake is such a great father.  Everything he does is for us.  He spends countless hours working hard for us.  He is a great provider of our temporal, physical and spiritual needs. He truly wants his kids and me to be happy so he works so hard.  We love him!
Breakfast in Bed for Jake

We have beautiful summer days and nights in Idaho.  We stay out until it gets dark.  The sunsets are really amazing.

Funny Story:  Jace needed to go to an overnight camp out for him to be able to get his arrow of light.  Being the good dad that Jake is, he got everything packed up and went to the camp out.  About 15 minute later I got a call from Jake, saying that nobody was there but 4 or 5 people.  Jake called a couple guys from our ward that have boys Jace's age to see if they were coming.  Nobody that they knew was able to come!  The only adults there were all decked out in scout uniforms and professional tents.  That obviously made Jake feel uncomfortable and awkward so they decided they needed to either go buy Jake some sweet green scout shorts and a skin tight scout shirt or they could come back home and sleep outside in a tent in the pasture.  After about 10 seconds of deciding what to do, they showed back up at home and made camp out in the pasture. They made a fire and stayed up late talking.  Then went to sleep in the tent, but ended up coming in about 5 a.m. because the stupid neighbor's chickens were so loud.
