We had a great June! The kids have so many activities which means every day having something for someone. Life really is so great.
JUNE HIGHLIGHTS
McKenna's Tonsil out, Fathers Day, basketball camps for Jace and Mallory, piano recital, swimming lessons, many cousin visitors, Heber City Roping, Jackson Hole roping, soccer for Madelyn and McKenna, and softball for Mallory.
| We had a girls night out with Addison and Eden. Korver got his heart surgery so we got to have the Smith kids with us. |
| These girls make me smile. I told them we were having a girl's night out. They immediately went upstairs and got fancy for their night out. |
| Jagger loves being outside. His favorite thing to do is getting the eggs. |
| Korver loves horses and his grandpa. |
| We went to Jackson for a roping and a rodeo. |
| Jace roped with Jake and Hugh |
| Many hands, make light work. |
| Fathers Day is always a fun day for us, and hopefully more fun for Jake. He was our king for the day. He got the royal treatment from his princess and prince. He had a nap, back rub, a concenrt, and dinner with his queen. |
| I hope Jake knows how much we appreciate him. He is a hard worker. He provides for our family so well. He is always there when we need him. He supports us in all of our activities. Truly we are so thankful for him! |
| Grandma and Mallory had matching skirts. Pretty cool for Grandma to be so stylish. |
| Daily Jace is doing funny things. Tonight he had to feed, so he went out in his underwear with his winter coat. |
| Jagger loves gloves and hats. I find them all around the house. |
| We had Stockton and Spencer come to the Firth Basketball camp. They are such nice boys. We enjoyed having them stay with us. Firth Cafe will never be the same. Spencer loved that place! |
Before
McKenna has been getting strep throat too much lately. The doctor thought it would be a good idea to get her tonsils and adenoids out. She did really good through the surgery. She recovered really fast. She was eating mac n cheese on day one. She is a tough girl. |
| After |
| Jagger is my shopping partner. His dad has taught him a few tricks about shopping! |
| Jace and McKenna at their piano recital. They both enjoy piano. Mallory decided to take guitar lessons. |
| Jagger loves wearing Jake's boots. He has big boots to fill to be like him. |
| See what I mean about the hats and gloves. |
| We went to the Heber City roping. We ended up getting a flat tire on the trailer. It was around 5 pm, Saturday night, so there weren't any tire stores open. Luckily we found one up in Midway. I am continually amazed at how we are taking care of each day from bad things happening. Promptings and being in tune saved us from being on the side of the road with a flat tire, 4 horses and 5 kids. |
| We rode in the back of the horse trailer. It made me nervous so I didn't last too long. |
Jake always has chute help when roping. We spend many nights in the arena.
Families that rope together stay together. |
| Beautiful sunset in Idaho. I feel so blessed to live here! |
